    1. Bishops Lodge Historic House and Heritage Rose Garden Bishop's Lodge is a remarkable iron building, constructed in 1888 as home of the first Anglican Bishop of the Riverina. It features unique architecture, reflecting the climatic conditions of the Riverina, including corrugated iron on the outside and saw dust for insulation. There are also attractive gardens in the grounds, including an acclaimed collection of heritage roses.
    2. DUNERA MUSEUM at Hay Railway Station DUNERA MUSEUM - The Hay Internment and Prisoner of War [POW] Camps Interpretive Centre was established in 1999 in carriages at the Hay Railway Station c1882. (NSW Heritage listed )
    3. Hay Gaol Museum A diverse collection of artefacts showcasing the history of Hay is displayed in the buildings and ground of the old Hay Gaol. The complex has had many uses since it was built in 1878: gaol, maternity hospital, lock hospital for the insane, Prisoner of War detention centre, Institute for Girls and now a museum.
    4. Hay Prisoner of War and Internment Camp Interpretive Centre Housed in two railway carriages, the museum tells the story of the camps in Hay where the 'Dunera boys', and Japanese and Italian prisoners of war, were held during World War II. Photographs, exhibits and music bring the experiences of the townsfolk and the internees to life. The Interpretive Centre exhibits are displayed in two restored train carriages at the Hay Railway Station.

    1. Witcombe Fountain The Witcombe Fountain was a gift to the people of Hay from Mayor John Witcombe in 1883. Mayor Witcombe served five terms in office and was a member of the family responsible for building many of Hay's older buildings.

    1. Hay Nature Walk The Hay Nature Walk runs along the northern side of the Murrumbidgee River. Picnic areas are located along the walking track to allow people to sit and enjoy the tranquillity of the river, to have a picnic, or to simply take a rest.
    2. Hay Sunset Viewing Area The Hay Sunset Viewing Area is a must for the artist, photographer or those who have never seen a real sunset. Unhindered by tall buildings or smog, the traveller can delight in the magnificence of the sun going down. The full spectrum of colours is present as the sun sets over the plains.
    3. Hay Weir The Hay Weir (Also known as Johnston Park) is located approximately 15km from Hay on the Maude Road. Facilities available include BBQ, picnic area and toilets. The Hay Weir is also an extremely popular fishing spot, where fisherman have been known to catch Murray Cod up to 70 pounds in weight!

    1. 2012 Sydney Chinese New Year Festival Celebrate the Lunar New Year at City of Sydney's Chinese New Year Festival. Running from 20 January - 5 February 2012, this vibrant arts Festival has a program bursting with cultural events, markets, tours, exhibitions and entertainment, most of them free. In 2012 celebrate the Year of the Dragon, one of the most powerful and lucky signs in the Chinese zodiac.

    1. Annual Hay Lions Football Club Fishing Competition The Annual Hay Lions Football Club Fishing Competition commences on Saturday and closes with presentations of winners on Sunday. There are plenty of shady camping sites available and a free shuttle bus will be operating throughout 4 Mile on Friday and Saturday nights.
